nvda remote is still dangerous

Sociopath is back. And vorried about this world. You know what i just had to discover? I playd arround with nvda remote and just had the idea to connect to key 1234. How could i have the idea that some people would actually be connected to this key? Yeah, it was. I sometimes do thjis, and when i find such stupid keys, i always try to make them disconnect. How ever, mostly it is hard to be successful.

This is mostly because people don’t realize what is going on. For this particular person i have first tried to disconnect him via the nvda menu. The problem was i could not figure out the nvda remote submenu. It was neither english nor german. I took a guess, but all i did was opening a settings menu. I then tried to open notepad and send this guy a message. It failed through clipboard. But it did not work. I think i managed to open notepad, but before i could paste, the person closed the window. I then succeded though by shutting down his computer. He booted it up again probably, but the connection did not return. At this point i am frustrated mainly about 2 things. First, why didn’t the guy disconnect himself? He closed his window, so he noticed me. Why didn’t he disconnect? At the second hand, i am frustrated about nvda developers, since they refuse to take action to stop this. If you would enter 1234, 1 or 0000 as a key, they would throw you back out. Nvda remote just connects without even warning the user. Please warn your friends about this, especially the ones that are less competend with computers. If you, the user we shut down, reads this, please do the same and don’t do that ever again.

  1. Nah, their government is not as bad as the western media outlined, yet I don’t see too much need to talk about it here, because noone’s going to understand except of DJSenter, ArcticMoon, Quin, AdventureTime, ETC… And its rude to speak a foreign language in presence of the host

  2. Not racist, xenophobic.
    And also, are we that stupid that we include race and ethnicity in the case of a type of software?
    Yes, the government is bad, yes, there are bad people like everywhere else.
    Either way, as it wasss very well highlighted, this is a clear issue in the areas over there, but also we can’t generalise too much.
    So, in the end we have a conclusion, that perhaps he is entitled to his opinion and we all know exactly what he meant.

  3. Xcuse me, what language is this?
    “How ever you spell it. And urh did as well, sorry for missing this, but i think after the message to you both it should be clear what i mend and that not only you have to hold on to that.”

  4. well, I actually don’t ly when I say i don’t hate chinese people. but i do hate their government very much, and while i know that people aren’t involved with their government, china in general in my country has been very mocked in the past years.

  5. How ever you spell it. And urh did as well, sorry for missing this, but i think after the message to you both it should be clear what i mend and that not only you have to hold on to that.

  6. Simter, you need to learn something called sarcasm. Urh spouted off something racist, and I mocked it. Try again.

  7. Djsenter is gets related in the moment you say you don’t wanna use something because it comes from a specific country, which kwin did. That is also why companies like huaway get banned. People blame them for their government which is not fair.

  8. First of all, racist. Seond of all, what does race have to do with a software which someone might want or not want to use? XDD

  9. well, zdsr also doesn’t work well for me, and the other thing is that i just don’t trust anything created in that country in general. because i have bad experience with it.

  10. Urh’s comment is pretty rasict, yeah. But the fact that everything which comes from China is good and everything is bad attitude is not good either. I am willing to translate zdsr into hungarian so it might help others, but it’s not guaranteed that people will switch in a day. Because even if some people don’t admit, NVDA can do everything that zhengdu does, and for me NVDA performs better regarding speed and responsivity than zhengdu. I’m probably not used to that if I reach the end zhengdu just doesn’t react and keeps reading the last element until it finishes, because if you do the same thing with NVDA you can pause it if you want.

  11. @Karmien While my comment can be found annoying, Queen just paraphrased what you dear friend said. So you misunderstood. He is the one to be racistic.

  12. kwin and nuno, both tin ice. Kwin, that is kinda racistic. Nuno, this is offensive, and also your last post about urh should be banned from earth.

  13. Urh, you’re easily one of the most arrogant, stupid and ignorad people I’ve ever met.
    As for Zhengdu logs. It logs stuff in
    C:\program data\zdsr\zdsr\log.txt
    This log contains
    * Your ZDSr version
    * Your Windows version
    * Installed CPU, RAM and HDD
    * Installed .NET Framework version
    * Any exceptions raised by the ZDSR runtime.

  14. If the software comes from this place I will not use it, for that reason, and that reason alone! Oh, but I don’t have anything against that place. Sure.

  15. I wont say it like that but since nuno denied that this could be a problem i went this fr.

  16. who knows what ZDSR does. but if it’s from china I am against using it. not that i have anything against chinese people, but still plus yeah it’s not open sourced.

  17. It monitors network but not the rest. And zdsr may log but not everything does and who knows if it lets stuff out, hmmß

  18. haha, Wireshark debugs all the network traffic, while everything offers a way to see all I/O logs. Please understand Windows before accusing.

  19. Yeah nuno it does but maybe sometimes you wanna find out what a program does outside networking. You know it is this complicated thing named background execution of for an example so called cmd commands, file openings, downloads, all this stuff that windows can do.
